Notes: The Club Constitution and Policy Manual are important club documents and are central to the running of the club. The Liability Release and Safe Diving Practices Statement are signed on joining or renewing membership.

Suppliers and Services
Dive equipment sales, equipment servicing, courses: Any reputable dive shop will advise you. Good places to start are: - Australasian Diving Academy (www.ausdiving.com.au) and Perth Diving Academy (www.perthdiving.com.au). ADA are located in `Cannington (9356 9577), Melville (9319 8600) and Nedlands (9389 5018). PDA are located in Balcatta (9344 7844) and in Fremantle (9430 6300). There are many others. You can buy over the internet too but you need to know what you are doing.

Wetsuit adjustments and custon-designed wetsuits: Heatseeker Wetsuits - Louise Bond - 2/11 Augusta St, Willetton WA 9457 4122 heatseekerwetsuits@westnet.com.au.

Prescription lenses for dive masks: Vision West - Paul Clarke. Vision West are on the ground floor of Karrinyup Shopping Centre, Burroughs Rd (9445 1499). This is not a straightforward task, as some allowance is needed for water refraction.

Hydrostatic testing of dive tanks: It has to be done once a year and generally takes about a week. Perth Diving Academy in Balcatta (9344 7844). Some other dive shops do it on site too - check with them, or you might have to wait longer while they send your tank away to someone who does do it, and then get it back.

Oxygen enriched air - Nitrox: Perth Diving Academy in Balcatta (9344 7844) and at Hillarys. There are others.

Leak detector for cameras: Jeff Mullins supplies them. See www.uwleakdetector.com.

For Underwater Photographers who want to organise and edit their photos - a must for anyone with over 200 images: Martin Evening (2009). The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 book The Complete Guide for Photographers, Peachpit, Berbley Ca, 601p.

For the budding Tech-Diver or anyone interested in the fringes of diving - a brilliant true tale of the identification of a mystery sunken German U-boat recently found off the New Jersey Coast: Robert Kurson (2004). Shadow Divers, Hodder and Stoughton, London, 375p.

For Technical and Wreck divers, or for those that just want to know...: Gary Gentile (2005). Deep, Dark and Dangerous - Adventures and Reflections on the Andrea Doria, Gary Gentile Productions, Philadelphia, 216p. Despite his pedantic style, full of fact and interest - scary at times!

For Underwater Photographers who want to vastly improve their capabilities in taking digital photos: Martin Edge (2008). The Underwater Photographer, Focal Press (Elsevier), London, 392p. Outstandingly well written and illustrated with stunning photos and methods of taking them. A must for ANY U/W photographer!
