Trips beyond the metro area
The Club organises at least one major trip per year, some of these are off-shore. The Club attempts to negotiate bulk discounts, which are passed on to the members that go.
• In October-November 2009 we organized a trip to the Rowley Shoals, off Broome. Click here for a look. This was very successful, with 11 members going.

At present we do not have any overseas trips or more distant expeditions planned but the Committee is open to suggestions and, more importantly, we need organizers willing to plan, persuade and coordinate.
One of the best ways of finding out about these trips is to come to our meetings where regular progress reports are made. The meetings are an integral part of the Club's culture and communications. Anyone interested in the Club is encouraged to attend. The meetings are free and non-members are welcome.
