Boat Dives
Club Members do regular boat dives throughout the year in local waters, where we are able to enjoy the warm, clear waters of the Leuwin Current. We don't own our own boat, but prefer to use commercial operators.
Options are Lionfish IV, which operates from the Underwater Centre Fremantle at Rous Head in Fremantle, or either Image Dive or the PDA boat that both operate out of Hillarys, and of course others.
One of the priviliges of Scuba2 Membership is access to the Scuba2 broadcast email, which helps you find and coordinate with a suitable buddy.
Some of us get Winter Dive Passes for the winter months, ignore the concept of a diving 'season' and keep fit for summer. The water can be quite clear off Rottnest, even in winter (see below).

You need all your dive gear and money for dinner on the Friday night. All other meals will be provided on the boat.

One of the best ways of finding out about these trips is to come to our meetings where regular progress reports are made. The meetings are an integral part of the Club's culture and communications.
